The Telomerase Activator
Epithalon (also spelled Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) developed by Prof. Vladimir Khavinson at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation. It's the most extensively studied anti-aging peptide in the world with 40+ years of research. Epithalon activates telomerase, the enzyme that rebuilds telomere length — the primary molecular clock of cellular aging. It also normalizes melatonin production, regulates the hypothalamic-pituitary axis, and has demonstrated life extension in multiple animal models.
Same as Epithalon — alternate spelling
Epitalon is the same compound as Epithalon — the alternate spelling comes from different transliterations of the Russian 'Эпиталон.' Both refer to the tetrapeptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly (AEDG). There is no chemical difference between products sold as 'Epithalon' vs 'Epitalon' — they are identical molecules.
Epithalon and Epitalon are the SAME peptide — just different spellings. When shopping for this compound, both names refer to the tetrapeptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. Focus on purity (>98% HPLC verified) and source quality rather than the spelling. Khavinson's research is the gold standard — look for suppliers who reference his work and provide certificates of analysis.
Epithalon stacks well with: Thymalin (immune + anti-aging synergy), Pinealon (cognitive + sleep), and GHK-Cu (tissue repair + anti-aging). The classic Khavinson longevity protocol combines Epithalon + Thymalin + Vilon for comprehensive anti-aging effects.
