What is Cortagen?
Cortagen is a synthetic tetrapeptide bioregulator (Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro) developed by Professor Khavinson that specifically targets cardiovascular tissue. It normalizes the function of the heart and blood vessels, reduces age-related cardiovascular decline, and has been used in clinical practice in Russia for over 30 years.
Mechanism of Action
Cortagen acts as an epigenetic regulator in cardiovascular cells, normalizing gene expression in cardiomyocytes and vascular endothelial cells. It reduces oxidative stress in cardiac tissue, improves mitochondrial function in heart cells, and normalizes the coagulation cascade.
Cortagen Dosing Protocol
10 mg total per cycle (1 mg/day intramuscular for 10 days). Repeat 1–2 times per year. Can be combined with Epithalon and Thymalin in the full Khavinson longevity protocol.
