What is Enclomiphene?
Enclomiphene is the active isomer of clomiphene citrate (Clomid) that blocks estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus, tricking the brain into thinking estrogen is low and triggering increased GnRH, LH, and FSH production — which stimulates natural testosterone production. Unlike TRT, it maintains fertility and testicular function.
Mechanism of Action
Enclomiphene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that blocks estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus. This removes the negative feedback that estrogen normally provides, causing the hypothalamus to increase GnRH pulsatility, which drives LH and FSH from the pituitary, stimulating testicular testosterone production.
Enclomiphene Dosing Protocol
12.5–25 mg/day oral. Start at 12.5 mg/day and titrate based on testosterone response. Some men need 25 mg/day for optimal levels. Monitor testosterone, LH, FSH, and estradiol every 4–6 weeks.
