What is GHRP-2?
GHRP-2 is a synthetic hexapeptide that acts as a potent ghrelin receptor agonist, producing one of the strongest GH pulses of any GHRP. It is more potent than GHRP-6 at equivalent doses and is commonly used in research for maximum GH stimulation. Unlike Ipamorelin, it significantly elevates cortisol and prolactin, making it better suited for short, aggressive cycles.
Mechanism of Action
GHRP-2 binds to ghrelin receptors (GHSR-1a) in the pituitary and hypothalamus with high affinity, producing a strong, dose-dependent GH pulse. It also activates hypothalamic GHRH neurons, amplifying the GH response synergistically when stacked with GHRH analogs.
GHRP-2 Dosing Protocol
100–300 mcg subcutaneous injection 2–3 times daily on an empty stomach. Stack with CJC-1295 or Sermorelin for synergistic GH release. Cycle: 8–12 weeks on, 4 weeks off.
