What is GHRP-6?
GHRP-6 is one of the original growth hormone-releasing peptides and produces the strongest GH pulse of any GHRP. It is a hexapeptide that acts on both the ghrelin receptor and the hypothalamus. While powerful, it significantly increases cortisol, prolactin, and hunger — making it less ideal for long-term use compared to Ipamorelin.
Mechanism of Action
GHRP-6 acts on ghrelin receptors (GHSR-1a) in the pituitary and hypothalamus, producing a strong GH pulse. It also stimulates appetite via ghrelin pathways (useful for those trying to gain weight) and has some direct anabolic effects on muscle tissue independent of GH.
GHRP-6 Dosing Protocol
100–300 mcg per injection, 2–3 times daily on an empty stomach. Most effective when stacked with CJC-1295 or Sermorelin. Cycle: 8–12 weeks.
