What is Livagen?
Livagen is a synthetic dipeptide bioregulator (Lys-Glu) developed by Professor Khavinson that targets liver and immune system tissue. It is one of the simplest Khavinson peptides but has significant effects on liver function, immune regulation, and chromatin remodeling. It has been used clinically in Russia for liver protection and immune restoration.
Mechanism of Action
Livagen activates chromatin in liver and immune cells, normalizing gene expression patterns. It promotes hepatocyte regeneration, reduces liver fibrosis markers, activates lymphocyte function, and has antioxidant effects in hepatic tissue.
Livagen Dosing Protocol
10 mg total per cycle (1 mg/day intramuscular for 10 days). Repeat 1–2 times per year. Often combined with Thymalin for combined liver-immune support.
