What is RAD-140?
RAD-140 (Testolone) is a selective androgen receptor modulator developed by Radius Health. It has the highest anabolic-to-androgenic ratio of any SARM (90:1 vs testosterone's 1:1), meaning it produces powerful anabolic effects with minimal androgenic side effects. It also has neuroprotective properties — it activates androgen receptors in the brain to protect neurons.
Mechanism of Action
RAD-140 binds to androgen receptors with very high selectivity and affinity. Its unique structure allows it to activate anabolic pathways in muscle and bone while acting as an antagonist in the prostate. It also activates androgen receptors in the brain, providing neuroprotection via MAPK signaling.
RAD-140 Dosing Protocol
5–15 mg/day oral. Start at 5 mg to assess tolerance. Research doses: 10–15 mg/day. Cycle: 8–12 weeks. PCT is required — RAD-140 causes significant testosterone suppression.
