What is YK-11?
YK-11 is a steroidal SARM that is unique in that it also inhibits myostatin — the protein that limits muscle growth. By simultaneously activating androgen receptors AND inhibiting myostatin, YK-11 theoretically allows muscle growth beyond your genetic ceiling. It is one of the most potent and least studied SARMs.
Mechanism of Action
YK-11 is a partial agonist of androgen receptors with a steroidal backbone. It uniquely induces follistatin production in muscle cells, which inhibits myostatin (GDF-8). Myostatin is the body's natural muscle growth limiter — removing it allows for supraphysiological muscle hypertrophy.
YK-11 Dosing Protocol
5–15 mg/day oral, split into 2 doses. Start at 5 mg/day to assess tolerance. Cycle: 6–8 weeks maximum (limited safety data). PCT is required.
